GeorgeTHORNTON(Gateshead) Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on the 21st September aged 88 years, George, the devoted husband of Roberta, much loved dad of George, Michael, Deborah and Patrick, dearest father-in-law of Susan, Sue, Steve and Kerry, a loving grandad of George, Deborah, Amy, Craig, Rachel, Chloe, Ella and Maya and also loved by all of his great-grandchildren.
George will be very sadly missed by all his loving family and friends.
Would friends please meet for Requiem Mass at St. Joseph's RC Church, Gateshead on Wednesday 1st October at 12.05pm which will be followed by interment in Saltwell Cemetery at 1.15pm.
By request family flowers only, donations if desired to Barnardo's. A donation box will be available in the church.
